Free adult swimming sessions are being offered to residents as part of the Hull Big Swim campaign.
Hull Culture and Leisure is launching Hull Big Swim to motivate more adults to get active.
The free adult swimming sessions will be on offer during February and March at Ennerdale Leisure Centre, Woodford Leisure Centre, Albert Avenue Pools and Beverley Road Baths.
And those feeling anxious about returning to the swimming pool can also take advantage of confidence sessions to ease their transition back into the water.
Discounted swimming sessions will also be available for adults participating in the campaign.
Councillor Marjorie Brabazon, chair of Hull Culture and Leisure, said: “This is a fantastic way to encourage Hull residents to become more active. Swimming is a great way to keep in shape for your health and wellbeing, both physical and mental.
“These sessions can go a long way to help those who might not feel confident in the swimming pool.”
Ask reception staff at any of the participating sites about how to register for the free adult swimming pass.
