The Ceremony Room at the magnificent Guildhall in Hull has undergone an impressive transformation, and anyone considering a marriage or similar occasion will have the chance to have a look.
Works have taken place over the last 2 months to completely freshen up the room, creating a new, modern facility.
An open day will now take place tomorrow, Saturday 6 April, allowing for a first chance to see the renovated space.
Registration manager Jillian Fill said: “Although steeped in history, the room at the Guildhall was starting to look a bit dated.
“After carefully considering customer feedback, we’ve created a contemporary new look, whilst still making the most of the building’s historic features.
“It’s a significant decision as to where you hold a wedding or similar ceremony, and we’ve really tried to create an appealing space that is befitting for such special occasions.”
The open day will take place at the Guildhall, from 11am to 1pm, and all are welcome to attend.
