Essential resurfacing works will be taking place in Southcoates Lane this weekend.
The works will take place from Saturday 7 March at 7pm to Sunday 8 March at 6am in Southcoates Lane. The road will be closed from Hedon Road to Haller Street.
The diversion route for motorists will be via Preston Road, Marfleet Lane and Marfleet Avenue or Southcoates Lane, Holderness Road and Mount Pleasant.
Buses that service this route will also be diverted via Preston Road, Marfleet Lane and Marfleet Avenue.
Councillor Anita Harrison, portfolio holder for highways at Hull City Council, said: “To allow the works to be carried out safely and swiftly, road closures will be in place.
“We apologise in advance for any disruption caused during the period of works and ask that motorists are patient while we carry out these essential repairs.”
Resurfacing work will take place in Marfleet Avenue from Saturday 14 March at 7pm to Sunday 15 March at 6am. The road will be closed from Marfleet Lane to Hedon Road.
The diversion route for vehicles will be via Preston Road, Southcoates Lane and Hedon Road and vice versa.
For both works, access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
