As the improvements to Anlaby Road continue, a short-term road closure will be in place until Monday 22 February.
Since Monday 8 February a closure has be in place at the junction of Trenton Avenue and Anlaby Road.
Councillor Daren Hale, portfolio holder for economic investment and regeneration, said: “During the ongoing improvement works our contractor discovered that the existing road structure in this area is extremely poor, therefore more substantial deep rooter foundation repairs will place, which will pass the test of time.
“We ask motorists to bear with us as we aim to improve the road network for their long-term benefit.”
Traffic management is in place, with access inbound to Anlaby Park Road north.
