Local elections: Find out who is standing in your ward

Nominations are in for this year’s local elections.

Residents can now look at who is standing for election in their ward.

A seat is up for election in 19 of Hull’s 21 wards, with Bricknell and University wards do not have elections this year.

Residents who are registered should now have received a polling card giving the address of their polling station.

Residents can also visit the Where Do I Vote? website and enter their postcode to check the how close their polling station is to their house.

Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm on Thursday 2 May.
