On Friday 7 February, Hull Central Library will be transformed into Hogwarts welcoming hundreds of wizards, witches and muggles for an evening of storytelling, costumes, crafting, potion-making and magical mayhem.
Tickets for Harry Potter Night are £5 and available here.
Christine Hill, principal librarian, said: “Storytelling week gives us the opportunity to celebrate the magic and wonder of stories.
“We want to dispel the myths that libraries are quiet, dull places. There’s certainly no shushing here. We have an action-packed programme of activity and events for all ages.”
