Resurfacing work in Rawling Way

Essential overnight resurfacing work will take place in Rawling Way from Thursday 13 January.

The work is expected to last a few days and will be carried out overnight to minimise disruption.

Rawling Way will be closed from 7.30pm to 6.30am each night from Thursday 13 January to Friday 14 January.

The road connects Anlaby Road with the A63 and Hessle Road.

A signed diversion will be in place and emergency access will be maintained.

The work is being carried out by Wright Civil Engineering Ltd on behalf of Hull City Council.

Councillor Dean Kirk, portfolio holder for roads, highways and transport, said: “It’s important that we carry out these essential resurfacing works to Rawling Way.

“To allow the work to be carried out safely, we will have to temporarily close the road. The closures will take place overnight in order to minimise any disruption.

“We apologise for any inconvenience and thank road users and nearby residents for their patience.”
