Visitors to Trinity Market this Christmas will be treated to a special festive light show.
The show is based around the traditional poem ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’ by Clement Clarke Moore, but with a modern twist and will feature a magical laser light show throughout the whole market.
Councillor Rosemary Pantelakis, portfolio holder for culture at Hull City Council, said: “We wanted to treat visitors to Trinity Market with something a little bit special this Christmas.
“The stunning market has become one of the Old Town’s most popular destinations, with various events supporting a creative and vibrant community of small businesses.
“Christmas is always one of the most important times of the year for shops and traders, especially for independent businesses. Hull city centre is home to a host of fantastic independents, and I encourage everyone to support them this Christmas.”
The light show will be accompanied by a range of festive food, drink and music.
It takes place on December 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 22nd and 23rd at 3pm, 5pm and 7pm each day.
The show, produced by Indigo Shiba Lasers, takes place inside the market and is free.
