Hull Street Food Nights is back – and its organisers have secures a tasty deal for free visitor parking.
The first event of 2019 on Thursday 4 April marks a return to Trinity Square, where it began in April 2017.
And HullBID, which runs the event, has secured a deal to allow visitors to park for free for up to 13 hours.
Promotional codes will be published on HullBID’s social media channels for free parking at King William House car park from 11am to midnight on the dates of each event.
It will also publish the codes on the two-day Yum! Festival on Friday 9 August and Saturday 10 August from 11am to 7pm.
And the Hull Street Food Nights curtain-raiser will also see followers given the chance to enter a prize draw to win one dedicated parking space at the car park for a year – with the six season tickets up for grabs worth a total of £3,600.
The festival takes place on the first Thursday of the month from April to September, from 4pm to 9pm.

On Thursday, more than 30 vendors will serve authentic food inspired by cuisines from across the world, with options for vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs.
Live music, a DJ set from Mark Page of Humber Street Sesh, fire-breathers and jugglers will entertain visitors, while a branded rickshaw will ferry people between the transport interchange and Trinity Square.
Events will also take place inside Trinity Indoor Market, where many operators originated at Hull Street Food Nights. Hull Minster will provide seating and shelter for visitors.
The free weekend parking deal is part of APCOA’s support for Dove House Hospice, which has boosted the charity’s funds by more than £18,000 since 2015.
Kathryn Shillito, HullBID executive director, said: “APCOA is investing more than £500,000 in King William House car park, which is now open 24 hours a day and can accommodate up to 600 cars, and we’re delighted they are supporting our events and the city centre business community generally.”
