The annual Christmas memorial service will be held at Chanterlands Crematorium on Sunday 17 December.
Those attending can remember their loved ones at a special time of the year by lighting a candle.
They can also place a remembrance dedication on a Christmas tree.
Festive hymns will be sung, at a service where all are welcome.
It will be led by the Reverend Stephen Whalley.
Organ music will be provided by Tony Brown.
Councillor Jack Haines, Communities and Communications Portfolio Holder, said: “This service aims to be uplifting, and provides a special opportunity to gather to remember those we’ve lost.
“It can be especially poignant for those who have recently been bereaved, but the service is equally for anyone who has suffered a loss at any time in their life.”
The service will be held in the large chapel at the Crematorium, starting at 2pm, lasting approximately 1 hour.
Those attending are asked to arrive around 1:45pm.
Free light refreshments will be available.
Chanterlands Crematorium is on Chanterlands Avenue, Hull, HU5 4EF.
A large, free car park is available.
The service is organised by Hull City Council’s Bereavement Services.
