Essential resurfacing works on New Cleveland Street will start on Monday 4 June.
The works will take place between the hours of 7pm and 12am for four nights only to allow carriageway repair works to take place.
The street will remain open to traffic throughout the works and a temporary bus stop will be provided south of the existing inbound bus stop near Hodgson Street.
Councillor Anita Harrison, portfolio holder for highways, said:
We are carrying out these essential works during off-peak hours in order to minimise disruption to motorists and businesses.
Residents in the area have already been informed of the works which are taking place. We ask that motorists are patient and apologise in advance for any disruption caused during the period of the works.
Access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
