Strictly Ballroom: The Musical

Strictly Ballroom: The Musical visits Hull starring Strictly Come Dancing’s Kevin Clifton and BBC’s Eastenders’ Maisie Smith.
Directed by TV Judge, Craig Revel Horwood, Strictly Ballroom follows a rebellious young ballroom dancer, (Kevin Clifton). When his radical dance style sees him fall out of favour, he must dance with beginner, Fran (Maisie Smith).
Together they find the courage to discover that to win, your steps don’t need to be strictly ballroom!
This feel-good ballroom sensation is sure to make for an unforgettable evening under the glitter ball that will send your heart soaring and toes tapping.
Maritime Guided Tours
Hull City Centre, Various Dates, 10:30am, 11:30am & 1:30pm
Hull’s maritime guided tours take place every Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, giving you the chance to explore our maritime city. Led by White Badge accredited tour guides, the tours begin outside the old Arctic Corsair unit and the Hull and East Riding Museum.
The tour visits the future location of the Arctic Corsair at North End Shipyard, Queens Gardens, and the new home for the Spurn Lightship in Hull Marina.
The Awakening 2023
Hull City Centre, 17 – 19 Mar 2023, 6pm – 10pm
After an incredibly successful launch year in 2022, The Awakening is returning to Hull illuminate the city centre once again. Celebrating the change of seasons and our maritime identity, heritage, folklore, and mythology, you are invited to explore the history-rich streets of the city.

Ancient Egypt Exhibition
Ferens Art Gallery, HU1 3RA, 17 Mar – 18 Jun 2023, from 10am
Featuring two exhibitions, the season will explore the mystery of ancient Egypt and two of the greatest Egyptian discoveries of the last 200 years.
The decoding of the Rosetta Stone in 1822, which unlocked our understanding of the ancient Egyptian world. Then 100 years later, the discovery in 1922 of the almost undisturbed tombs of Tutankhamun which sparked a worldwide sensation.
Dick & Dom In Da Bungalow Live!
Hull City Hall, HU1 3RQ, 25 Mar 2023, 7:30pm
20 years after the hit BBC show burst onto our screens, Dick & Dom are bringing their own special kind of mayhem live to Hull. This is Dick & Dom like never before with familiar favourites to bring the spirit of ‘Da Bungalow’ back to life.
Expect the unexpected as the legendary Creamy Muck Muck game returns and with appearances from Diddy Dick and Dom, and D.I Harry Batt no member of the audience is safe!
